Life update
We've been pretty boring the last couple of weeks.
Bekah is drowning in AP school work. She's gone twice to be a line judge for our school's brand new boy's volleyball team. She spent last night at a friend's house (JB) watching scary movies outside and is looking forward to a trip to CA this week.
Stick has started back with a little bit of work travel the last few weeks and is always busy with church work. They've reassigned him from the West Charlotte branch to the Gastonia ward. Today he traveled to Shelby for a meeting, back to Lincolnton for a talk and then to Gastonia for another meeting.
We fed the elders tonight and the sisters (3!) on Thursday.
Today, Stick and I were asked to give talks in the YSA branch that meets in our building. I haven't given a talk in our ward in six years but in the last four months, I've given talks in the Spanish branch, the West Charlotte branch, and now the YSA branch. I agreed to today's talk but definitely repurposed the talk I gave to the West Charlotte branch.
I taught seminary all last week and I have this week off. I didn't have school last week because the second grade spent most of each day at the YMCA swimming but I'm back for a couple of days this week.
Yardwork
I've spent some time in the yard trying to stay ahead of the weeds. We pulled out three bushes in our back yard and replaced them with berry bushes that we've been growing in pots for a few years. It gives me the itch to pull out ALL the bushes in our yard.
That's it for us!
